Itchy skin means you get a sensation of scratching your skin and we call it in medical terminology as pruritis. So in what cases do we get the itchy skin? Most common cause, dry skin. Skin is the barrier or the protective organ of our body. So what it does is, it protects us against all the external factors. When the skin is dry, there are minute openings or cracks in the skin. So this gives as a gateway to all the organisms and irritants. So it can cause irritation and thereby itching of the skin, suppose if there is some allergic contact dermatitis some particular ingredient which you are come in contact, you get itching, you get allergic, you get itching. You get itching when there is redness. So you get itching when something is healing, because the healing releases a lot of inflammatory factors. That is why you experience itching of the skin. The other cause of itching is irritant contact dermatitis, anything coming in contact with the skin causes itching, blistering and all. So any condition which causes irritation of the skin, sensitisation of the skin or little bit inflammation of the skin can give rise to itchy skin conditions. The other skin condition it is called as urticaria where along with itching you get redness and red colour bumps as well. So there are lots of skin conditions where you get itchiness. So you have to take care according to the cause. So if you treat the cause, the itching is gone.

Mujhe 3 salo se pure bodye me khujali hoti hai.. Skin pe koi marak nhi hota bus khujli hota hai... Specially hatho ke panje, talwe.. Pairo ke talwe or panjo pe, or dono aankho me bhi... Or jab v livocetrizne tab. 1 goli leta hu.. To 2 din aram rhta hai... But uske bad phir se itching start... I am 26 year old now..

Hello everyone better treatment for u is.. Try washing well ur skin using slight hot water( u feel as great frm severe itching).. Then mixed half lemon in a cup of water spread all over ur skin tn 2min after wash it well ( evn in cold time it getting worst so do it after u taken bath but try using saflon or any medicated oily soap wat suitable for u avoid dryness).. apply oily nivea or almond lotion avoid dryness fter complete all the above process.. - My kind advices is if it's not stop for u 90% in 3days kindly consult ur doctor to take some medicine bcoz somtimes our blood get infections need to take tablet to reduce the toxins too..
Dont try tis for diabetes or any other kind patient who got disease earlier bcos they should follow what doctor said.. tc

Hi doctor its been 4 year i am suffering with fungus infection in it causes redness blisters on the ereas etching and pain... I have used so many medicine like panderm +, clotrimazol and so on and right now i am using lobet gm and fuconazol tabs 150 mg but whenever i stop taking them its starting on by one and spread very fast i need a permanent solution i am tired of it now i have visited so many hospital and did test for kidny function thyroid and other everything is ok but still i cant get rid of it help me pls
