I’ve itched for the past two years saw dermatologist prescribed Dermacool, it’s a life saver, after my shower I rub it all over my body cools it down a treat, stay out of the sun, wear cotton clothing, nothing tight, try not to scratch, not easy I know, warm shower instead of hot. I also use non perfumed soap on my body and use a natural washing soap for my clothes, no perfume.

I used to play sports but recently I can hardly play sports because if my body starts feeling any type of sweating or heat my face gets extremely itchy and it’s unbearable.

I developed this very irritating itching some years ago... when I wear pants (trousers) it irritates my skin so bad I become uncomfortable. Glad I came across this video.

Sometimes I’m so itchy I can’t sleep, but I’ve changed detergent, helped, but what now I’m positive it was the polyester in my school’s scrubs! Synthetic fabrics are awful for my skin.

Hot shower tends to make your skin really dry. Try cold shower, thank me later.

Thank you Doctor, I am going through some bad issues with skin pain and itchy itchy itchy oh Lord please help me before I go silence of the lambs on myself. (be advised this is a joke) I just wanted to say that I appreciate the time and energy it takes to make videos like this espically in a time where our culture is over or under self educating with topics that are more serious than what we concieve to be on the "surface." Thank you thank you.

I get extremely itchy every night right before bed. It’s so bad that sometimes I can’t sleep because my skin feels alive it’s so itchy. Also after I shower I get itchy. The water isn’t very hot. And I use a lotion/soap that’s organic & made from all natural ingredients. Even after I use the lotion I’m still itchy. I’m 27 yrs old and take no medication and have no health issues. Would love to know your opinion!

I eat well. I drink plenty of water. I exercise. I don't smoke. I'm a hygenice person. So I'm not sure why I've been itching relentlessly at night for the past week. I itch so bad, I scratch and cut the skin. I itch all over too. Ears, head, scalp, face, legs, arms, stumach, chest. Soles of feet occasionally. But the itching only happens at night. Full force too. Right now it feels unbeatable. I've booked a doctor phone conselatation for Monday next week. Could you please advice me on what's my best bet till then? It would be massively appreciated on my end. This itching is driving me Bananas. Could it be fungal related?

For the past three years every time I shower my skin starts itching for 20 to 50 minutes, when I went to the hospital the doctor told me to "change your soap" (That didn't work)

👍 Thanks for this, but can you also point out to your followers that to check the ingredients in those two products you mentioned as there maybe something in them that they could be allergic to.

I experience itching when I'm nervous, feeling hot, walking on a sunny day, or feeling embarrassed. It's become so intense that I often have to find a nearby bathroom to scratch. I suspect I might be allergic to heat or something similar. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

This invisble stuff is attacking me. Feels like bugs is on me, but nothing is there. Every time I sit down in my house or lay down, i feel attacked. It itches, and feels like something is crawling on me constantly. This been happening for years. Sometimes it goes away for about 3-4 days, then it comes back. And my bed and walls are full of this small sand type stuff that pops up randomly. Sometimes even black hairs. This stuff is crazy. This stuff attacks my legs, feet, chest, and face. Even hair.

Here's a strange one. I started getting random itchy sensations about five years ago, but only when I'm laying down in bed at night. I'm okay during the day. I take an antihistamine every other day to keep the itchiness down. Where I itch is so random -- one night it's my feet, the next on my back, etc. Doc and dermatologist says it's because I'm a women over 50, which they tell me is not unusual. I'm still wondering why this only affects me when I'm prone at night. No one seems to have the answer to this one.

My first aid remedy is ICE! Everytime I feel itchy, I immediately rub a cube of ice rather than scratching it
