I'm currently taking 15g in the morning and 15g in the evening, it is the 5th day and my bloating has been gone starting the second day. I still have some irritation in the lower bowel, but seems there is a positive progress.

I just wanna share my experience with Glutamine supplementation. I have IBS diagnosys and I'm taking Glutamine supplement for a month now. I took 10g daily (5g in morning and 5g sometime before bed - the goal is to taki it on an empty stomach) for the first two weeks and then took 5g for the next two weeks. And I can safely say that it did not improve the symphtoms but it didn't made them worse. I still have to dodge foods and drinks which worsens the symphtoms. The only two notable improvements in my case are that I'm able to process "unwanted" toughts more easily (it sometimes helps me sleep better), and I can control sweets cravings. I hope it helps someone in their reaserch on this topic.

All amino acids... A broadbase approach is a great way to start. Adding extra is often needed. Start with a quality collagen and EAA stack. Since Glutamine is more effective when fasted... Wake and right at bed

How should i take l-glutamine? What time of they should i take it ? On an empty stomach or after a meal. If after a meal how long after the meal ?

I start taking the l-glutamine for my gut health but just after 4 days taking just 1g of glutamine i start fell cough and changes in bowel movements also seleepless, i cant sleep faster like i was i dont know now, i thing i should stopped any advice ?

I have IBS so I thought I would try taking l glutamine I tried with 5g and now have moved it down to like 2g twice a day. But it has not helped at all made my stomach hurt even more and I keep on getting diarrhoea. Is this a normal side effect that will go away?

The thing is…..if your ileocecal valve is always open or not working properly then SIBO no matter what you do will never be cured…..my experience…..thank you❤
