This actually makes a lot of sense. That's why you get muscles eaten away when you are very sick, such as with a bad flu or covid-19. The muscles are being catabolized for glutamine to feed lymphocytes. It's why you don't work out if you have a fever or cold.

I find that taking L-Glutamine right before bed time is beneficial, helps with overnight recovery and I sometimes I have really interesting dreams. This is one of those "all-round" supplements that has effects on both brain and body.
