Autistic people: exist
Hollywood: *time for a screaming scene*

This is insane. You can't just change the surgery mid procedure without consent of a patient or guardian.

Park is so good with Shaun. He always has his back and I love how he never holds grudges. Even when Shaun had a meltdown when his son was having an asthma attack, Park found out what was troubling him and fixed it

I can’t tell you how insane his acting skills are. He deserves an Oscar for his terrific acting skills. God! I’m in tears.

The fact that they trust Shaun so much just brings a smile to my face

Gotta love how the comments years ago were praising this show and now everyone's making fun of it

-gets sent to pathology for not being able to handle emotions well (not even fired, which would normally happen)
-cries and yells to dr. han for reasonably taking action against him (proving his point)
-hospital board decides to side with murphy and straight up fires han
-murphy runs out of the operating room on his first surgery back (also first surgery as lead)
-main protagonist who we are meant to side with throughout the whole show

It's pretty fascinating how completely different the reaction to this scene is from years ago to the current day.

When Shaun starts sweating profusely you know it is real. Look at his hair.

Props to Freddie for this amazing acting. He’s so believable when he’s on screen. 😭❤️❤️ I almost lost it when he looked to his vision of his brother breathing with him. 😭

Idk but i find hilarious the gap between the comments from 3 years ago praising the acting and the comments now after the boom of "i am a surgeon" memes clowning on it.

I really liked this episode...he doesnt endanger the patient thinking oh im the best doctor i can do it bet. Nope. Hre admits it and says he cant and needs help

Park is such a great character, when he first came in I didn't like him that much (still liked him more than Morgan then) and now he's one of the coolest characters after you learn about him and how he wasn't holding a grudge against Shaun for taking his surgery but thanked him as it led to his own surgery.

the shift in comments here from the actual fandom to the meme community is INSANE

This was Shaun being overwhelmed by his version of empathy. He put the patient's needs above his own wants and that is what caused the meltdown, not because he couldn't do it but because he couldn't grasp the feeling of empathy that was in him.
