Freddie Highmore not having an Emmy is a crime against humanity.

He did more damage with his words than he did with the bat.

"Because you're a superficial, selfish and prejudiced person"
I felt it, it hurts

I love how it's extremely hard for him to express his emotions especially anger but he was actually able to raise his voice for just a moment because that's how frustrated and angry he was.

My boy Shawn called out this woman's entire existsnce in the series and I couldn't have been more proud...

The fact he didn’t smash her car or hit her with the bat.. just shows he does have control and he just let it out with words. Also Freddie highmores acting is freaking out of this world. This was one intense scene!

You know what makes this scene so great is that Shaun loves her. He's hurt by rejection, can't understand how to handle these emotions. As angry and enraged as he has become, he still doesn't want to hurt her. The confused sadness as he walks off, this actor really does deserve a lot of awards.

Freddie Highmore had an incredible career as a child actor. But I've never seen anyone surpass that status like him. He grew up as a talented actor.

This scene hits especially hard as an Autistic person. It’s so easy to take advantage of someone with Autism and it can take us longer to figure it out, but once we do it’s painful and humiliating which adds to the actual offense. There have been some times in my life when I was mildly suspicious but couldn’t trust my own instincts because of the Autism and then later finding out I was actually right and the person was a jerk and that’s when I lose it

I needed to hear Shaun stand up for himself.

I was publicly lied about, gaslit into thinking I made a threat of harm for having a mental health crisis, and had my trust broken by someone I cared about more than anyone in a long time. It's taken months of therapy and the "you're a superficial, selfish, and prejudice person" line perfectly encapsulates the anger and frustration I've felt upon becoming lucid and attending psychotherapy for three months.

If someone defines you by the symptoms of your cognitive disability and not by the quality and strength of your character, they don't care about you and never truly did care about you.

It would have been much better if Shaun ended the conversation with “you can’t fix that” the same way Lea said it to Shaun in the previous episode as a way of getting back at her.

This guy deserves more than an EMMY. HE DESEVES AN OSCAR.

I just gotta say. The last couple years, Freddie and Paige have knocked it out of the park with their portrayals of their characters. Give these talented people some Emmy consideration.

He would never hit her or her car because of his childhood. His dad kill his rabbit so he could never inflict that same pain on another.

It hurts to see how much pain he's in. She definitely had that coming
