Even when he was a young man, not addicted to Vicodin and no broken leg yet, Dr. House still had a way of insulting people.

he forgot to tell him that he is a surgeon, that would've cleared things up

Favorite part of the show is definitely when Sean says "I AM A STURGEON"

His part was hilarious because he’s literally trying to save the other doctors. Patient and the doctor is just refusing to acknowledge because he thinks so highly of himself when we’re all humans we’re all capable of mistakes and we’re all capable of identifying other peoples mistakes and it’s actually extremely respectful to call him out on. It shows that you care.

Considering that medical errors are the third leading cause of death you'd think doctors wouldn't be so quick to say they didn't make mistake.

Good scene but would’ve been better if you gave us Dr. Han’s live reaction in the bottom right or something.

I loved the part where he said, “I. AM. SURGEON MAN!” and operated on Robert Downey Jr. and saved him and everyone clapped

The guy making fun of Shaun Murphy's voice is even funnier if you know that Freddie Highmore actually voiced a robot, in the 2009 film Astro Boy.

I bet doctor han could convince the renowned surgeon about his mistake.

So is every doctor show just:
Normal doctor: "We will do this procedure."
Super doctor: "This is stupid, you are stupid, that will kill him."
Normal doctor: "That is stupid, you are stupid."
Super doctor: "There is this seemingly pedantic detail that you've overlooked that is vital to this person's health"
Normal doctor: "No, we are not listening as you are neurodivergent and weird"
*Things go wrong*
Normal doctor: "Super doctor was right, but I still do not like him"
Super doctor:"[insert snarky remark]"

“you…. will kill him.”
how terrifying is it to know that if your were that patient you could die if someone didn’t listen to another doctor and it’s likely they wouldn’t?

I love the part where he said "I am a Surgeon and it's Surgen time!" Then he Surged all over the place. Truly moving.

I love the part where he says "I am not the one in surgery, Skylar, I AM THE SURGEON"

I do not see the insult. Just the series of facts.

"Don't start the operation. You will kill the patient. The STURGEON has spoken."

The thing is, from this conversation, I think Dr. Murphy is not a particularly good surgeon, either. A good doctor, who wants to suggest changes in the course of action with another surgeon, will say something like this “I think there is a possibility of (xyz) (complication) in this procedure, because there’s a study from abc (countries/institutes, etc.) that shows that surgery is not superior to intervention/medication in this population, probably because of (…) (insert mechanism here)”.

Not just more polite, but it shows you did research on the subject (a lot of knowledge in medicine is obtained that way, by reading and understanding a boatload of articles and journals while using the information available on the patient to deduct a right diagnosis and form a good treatment method).

Funny that he mentioned “study” just to make personal insult against the senior surgeon.

SOURCE: I am a surgeon fresh out of residency, and have made this kind of conversation both pre-op and mid-op.
