Mindfulness is a definitely good daily tool (whatever is or isn’t on your mind, whether you’re ill or healthy). Take it from someone who’s gone through some very dark phases in the past.

Been doing 20min timer meditations for several weeks now and holy cow my mind feels so much more open and real. I feel pretty damn good actually, in ways I wasn't aware. It's like when we're more present, there is more space and peace that overshadows the pain and struggle - less need to escape with vices and distractions. I probably only understand just the tip of the iceberg but you know what, I love it.

Pretty sure a lot of people drink and smoke weed to achieve the same effects but a lot less effectively, just putting in the real grit to sit and invest those 20+ mins every morning is going to provide so much more benefit and much more authentic from within, less numbing and avoiding, more embracing and integrating. Certainly has me feeling a lot more authentic and energetic - perhaps my sleep is improving too.

An entire hour is some serious results business - revolutionary for the mind.

In October 2020, four of my staff were murdered and my life was at risk. I received death threats and suffered insecurity that I left my country and sought asylum in a neighbouring country. I didn't seek therapy and it came to hunt me. In April 2021, I got seriously sick with depression, insomnia, high blood pressure and serious chest burns for eight months...during this time, I attempted suicide more than two times. Then I came across the philosophy of Stoicism and mindfulness meditation. Today, I am not just well but also very active in physical exercises, meditation and helping others to overcome their emotional issues.

So there can be a correlation of mediation and into entering samadhi as per practices which could be compared akin to bears hibernating, so therefore the body during meditation and entering samadhi might be a chemical or physical activity to achieve such a state, if some could find the correlation between nature and the human body in such negative practice might even get a noble prize 😊
