PREDESTINATION--IS IT THE TRUTH?

Do we have a choice?

Does God predestine some to Hell?

Is there any way to explain this from God's Word?

If God is "not willing that any should perish," then what does the Bible mean when it says that "he hardens whomever he wills"? (00:20)

This was a great explanation. It’s always bothered me since I was saved, but I now feel comforted knowing that everyone I ever evangelized still have a chance. GOD is Great

As humans we think we can twist scriptures to fit our perceptions of " fairness". We want God to be like we want him to be

I always say, don't worry whether you are elect, just come to Jesus and HE will NOT cast you out BUT if you do come ---- God CHOSE you

John, you're an awesome teacher, thanks for the insight !!!
I rightly divide the Word of truth, and I take "Elect", "Chosen" .as the Jewish Nation, and many Calvinist use Pedestination as interpreted as "They are the special ones !"

Yes, predestination is what it is. God always knew before hand. We can only know by peoples fruits and the knowledge and wisdom of God given to us in scripture.

Hey John my spiritual father had a beautiful explanation of this, I will try to make it as brief as possible at the end of our days we are invited to a beautiful summer evening party. we are outside and enjoying everyone's company as it starts to get dark the large ballroom becomes evident it has a deck all around with bright lights live music inside. everyone is dancing and laughing. there are french doors all around and they are open for all to come in, It felt like I was late but I finally went in. When I did someone pointed out the sign above the door that said "you were predestined to be here"

Who’s will is greater?
A. God’s
B. Man’s

You’ve answered the question.

I refuse to give In to YouTube premium but it's so hard to try and track with the pastor when every 4 minutes I get a 25 minute ad for vitamin supplements or how to make a day flipping houses

Yes, this principle of God's eternal perspective and man's street perspective is an excellent tool for understanding Scripture. I've explained the atonement aspect in this way: Acts tells us that God winked at sin before but now calls all men to repentance (Acts 17:30). How does he call all men to this? By the death of Christ. That death is applied to all; therefore, it is the reason for salvation to those who receive by faith, and simultaneously the reason for condemnation for those who do not, but it is applied to all. Jesus himself states this relationship in his conversation with Nicodemus, Jn 3:18.

In John 12:32 the Lord Jesus Christ stated:"But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to me" to qualify John 6:44.

God had foreknowledge before predestination was ever printed in the Bible. I do not believe in Calvinism.
