Been looking for something for this exact location on my hip. It burns and shoots with pain when I squat and DL with a wider base. Trying this tomorrow. Thanks Kelly!!!

Kelly, why are we working hip extension for the squat? Can you elaborate?
Can the psoas really limit squat depth, or is it just opening up that psoas/adductor/pectineus area?
I'm just trying to wrap my head around the mechanics of it...maybe time to brush up on my anatomy? lol

So is mobility 'wod?' a term that relates to flexibility? Is the goal here to loosen up muscles to prevent injury while working out? Thanks in advance for any answers or explanation... I'm just not familiar at all with these techniques.

@nnnbbbmmm79 "wod" = Workout Of (the) Day. Taken from crossfit terminology. So it's a mobility workout.
As for the point. The point is to create mobility in order to allow for the better positioning during movement which allows greater output of power while minimising risk of injury especially at high load, rep, and/or speed. Position is power.
