If you're not sure if you should accept an offer in this video I share 8 red flags you shouldn't ignore when considering a company and a job offer.

1. If you're asked any questions that are illegal.
Interviewers are not allowed to ask you any questions regarding your age, gender, race, marital status, religion or family life.

2. If the job description doesn't match the job they're describing in the interview. This is a switch and bait and something you'll want to avoid.

3. If the job description continually gets posted, taken down and reposted. Figure out why because this could be a red flag.

4. If the company has high turnover. Ask how long the previous person in this role was with the company and why they're leaving.

5. Any badmouthing of other employees. This is a no brainer and a sign of bad company culture.

I interviewed recently for a job. Everything felt mostly good there were a few things that could potentially be red flags. Number one, they said “ we are like family” Number two, they said “ we work hard play hard” And lastly, when I went into the office for the interview they had a little table set up with all their alcoholic beverages and shot glasses indicating that they possibly drink while on the job.

From my experience, I felt uncomfortable revealing a salary during initial phone screenings. Those companies insisted that I provide salary details before even interviewing with the hiring manager. Most companies I have worked for did not discuss salary information until a job offer was made after the interview. Personally, I think those companies asking for salary right away should of either posted their salary information or have candidates provide a salary range on the job application form. That way, the hiring manager or recruiter would not have to waste time calling me and they could see right away if I am within their budget. It's frustrating because there were jobs I was interested in, but I got weeded out because my salary range was not within their budget.

I recently went for a job interview, the company posted the positions as “Operations”, when I came for the first stage of interview, the manager talked about “executive, more like assistance manager” kind of jobs, and then when I go for second interview, the manager talked about level of job like “general manager operations” job, now, mind you, I put the expected salary as an executive on my application form, instead of general manager. When they come back for an offer, they told me they only able to give me a starting salary as “10%” from my previous job. So, I renegotiate considering what I”ve learned about the job descriptions during the interview. Now they come back to me and said, they could only offer me the X amount, which actually the same amount I was first offered. And then increase based on performance. They HR told me if I am ok with the offer before she could send me the offer letter. Which actually wrong, I could not see what my positions are, and the jobs ads gave a rather vague positions on the first place.

Interviewer asked me unrelated questions to job description and then was condenscending saying I dont listen when I kep telling him I couls not understand his language and questions he was asking. He was also not on time and looked drunk. This happened at 2nd interview along with HR.
Also job kept reposting along with people hiding their linkedin profiles. 1 person left role 4 months in and when I approached her to ask her about experience she never replied. Glassdoor full of negative reviews.
I agree the one person who is making the entire company sink with him when role they displayed was 100 percent match for me and I had done exact same thing before this job as well.

2:05 - so if someone asked an illegal question, can u sue them?? It's not right for a person to not do anything about it just for that interviewer can keep doing things like that to others candidates.

Girl, I mean no disrespect but please get original. You keep recycling already established and expressed ideas. A quick surf on YouTube gives me the exact ideas and sentences, word for word. If you are going to claim to be an expert in career/job searching advice, please make sure to bring some fresh ideas. I know that's the trends but please stop copying others contents and ideas for your own self benefits. It's called plagiarism. You seem to be educated; so I am sure you know what that means. No offense.
