It is a blend of lowering while rotating. You have to let the arms fall because rotation does steepen. This is why shallowing is so hard for beginners.

The best people in the world and the young people have the flexibility to keep the arms back long enough to lower with the turn. As an old guy in his 60s, if I don't lower my arms first, I'm steep and over the top. Just my opinion.

You have to drop your hands to shallow the club, keeping your hands behind and inside the ball just like a baseball swing.

Lowering your arms while shifting pressure early is the magic move in the golf swing.

It’s a feeling. According do Ernie els, Justin rose, Jason day, tiger woods, Sergio, Jake, ect

Every golf instructor I follow on YouTube teaches the feeling of dropping the hands/arms vertically from the top of the backswing. I am not sure I understand your objection to this teaching. When done correctly with a proper weight shift it produces a perfect on plane delivery.

It’s a feel that the arms are lowering. That’s what Tiger wanted to feel.

Feels not real, since i started using this feel, i have never hit my irons as well, as far, as and with divots and less shape on the ball, when i video my swing i cannot see myself doing it either, but i know i am, so go figure

I watched your entire video about this and it's really great instruction Milo! Here's Rory doing exactly what you teach. It shows his hips stopping/slowing before impact, which allows the torso/arm chain to sling the club through the ball to the finish, similar to a baseball swing where they put on the lower body brakes before contacting the ball. Many golfers think the swing is one smooth move from transition to the finish. I don't think it is based on slo-mo vids of long drive contests. Do you have videos/drills showing how to do this? Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
