Is the 2024 Lexus TX 550h a BETTER new luxury SUV than an Infiniti QX60?

FIRST LOOK: The TX is here and this a BRAND new SUV from Lexus. On the outside you will find it's unique size, 22in wheels, and LED lighting. On the inside you will be greeted by a generous amount of room, 14in infotainment screen, and 12.3in digital gauge cluster. Under the hood is a 3.5L V6 paired with an electric motor. Gotta hand it to you for this review, Joe! I'm a QX60 owner, and I almost never hear anyone mention a QX60 as a competitor to anything. It's like people review it and then forget it exists.

I know it will be expensive A.F. but the hybrid setup option is very attractive. I'd go for this over the QX60.

Yes, Joe, I do like the design philosophy with that new "spindle body" look up front. That's a nice update to the older "spindle grill" design. I also like the body color at the top of the wheel-well, too. I also believe that the MSRP on this particular TX model will be in the high 70 to low 80K range. With the exception of not having a sunroof (which really surprised me), I really like what you've showcased with this new model in the Lexus lineup.

Do not like the lack of a spare and I'm not really a 3-row type guy but the v-6 engine and the power while conserving gas is very appealing.

This is the best trim in TX with a proper engine V6. Unfortunately it is also probably going to be the most expensive trim.

I think I know why the rear wiper is at the bottom.The wiper provides a larger /safer field of swept vision for the driver looking at traffic in the rain. As opposed to having the wiper mounted near or in the rear spoiler.Just my thoughts. It could also just be more cost effective at the assembly plant. Great job as usual!
