Lol. Wait until he finds out that the soldiers used to cross dress for fun. Like my great grandmother, who was a battle nurse said that her and other soldiers and nurses would trade each other’s outfits and put on plays and skits for the other soldiers and nurses. She even said the female nurses would help with putting on wigs and doing their make up.

I wouldn't call going to war and dying as "living for adventure".

WWII men would perform and set up drag shows. It was even in military handbooks on how to do it.

Honestly it's so stupid. I highly doubt the final thought of a soldier who's just been eviscerated by turret fire were that of adventure or excitement. They didn't die to be mocked like that.

He is correct when he says “keep in mind they were ordinary people put in extraordinary circumstances” Upon hearing news of the Japanese attack and the waging of war, training and being shipped overseas presented a higher calling. The jobs and occupations they had back home became virtually meaningless and they adopted a new way of life and a new mission. Its easy to say they were a great generation, which they absolutely were, since we aren’t in said situation and couldn’t imagine being in such situation.

I feel like ww1 needs more recognition because when you thing of world wars, you think of ww2 and it makes since because the steaks were higher, there’s a clear good guy and bad guy and has really important moments. But ww1 on the other hand didn’t have a really good reason to start no one was in the wrong and when 90% of that did survive and get out had Spanish flue and most of them died. I’m not saying that ww2 vets are worse then ww1 vets I just think ww1 is too underrated.

I agree when I see a video that’s talks bad about younger people I get stressed out and my parents and their friends also talk bad about this generation I Try to explain to my mom why their wrong.

they just don’t get it but where I’m being raised at right now it’s just 50+ year old people that don’t understand what their saying.

And they even try to make me think the 1970s is like the 1930s and 1940s
Which I don’t think so it’s completely A different Era.(My Opinion)

And I work hard to get money and I’m not even a adult yet the music I hear to
Is 60+ year old music mainly Frank Sinatra.

I also like collecting world war 2 and Korean War.

God Bless

P.S. Sorry for bad grammar and if I’m off the topic.

All im saying is that if he complains so much as to how men were and how they are now. Why doesn’t he just join the fucking military or do his own fucking adventure, rather than staying home, and record a vido with his opinion which nobody really gives a dam. Just saying, that makes him quite the hypocrite of you ask me.

Also why do people always relate to “ how men used to be” with those who fought in WW2. Im pretty sure any man worth their salt who had to fight in it, wished the war didn’t happen to begin with. Only cause conflict arise and you are either forced to or willingly want to go a fight for your nation and those back home, doesn’t mean you wanted it happen to begin with. No one wants to be the one who sees the carnage of war, who sees his friend buried or injured, and most definitely not the one who then has to tell the family of man he fought alongside that he won’t be returning home any time soon.

One is not a man because he fights in wars, does dangerous things, or anything of the such. What makes someone a man is that who takes responsibility for his actions, who understands the consequences and outcomes, one who protects/supports his friends, family and loved ones in any way he can, and who does what he need to do to guarantee a good future for not only himself but those who will come after, in particular his own children, who will be able to achieve great things because of what was accomplished. No matter when or how that is done, it still makes you a man nonetheless.
