1st, What a great tutorial, 2 what a great view you have out your office

You can hide or camouflage the phones by making little containers for them or put it in between a flower pot and basket with a little window to view externally. Or behind picture frames and such; if you have the time and ingenuity to retro fit the phone to any good "base" objects I'd recommend it !

I have android and iPhone sitting in a drawer. Decided to try this. Can't find a solution that works with both. I have 4 apps on my phone to view various cameras. I don't want a fifth. I'd much rather have 1 and since the android phone works as a camera with my home automation app, I'd prefer that one. But no iPhone support. 😕

I'm not paying for an app I can get somewhere else for free. I clicked on this video because it was the oldest one I found about this, but the second you recommended a $5 app I realized this is just an ad or you'd have shown multiple apps. No more clicking on CNET crap. Thanks for the lesson

The software is very nice. Thank you very much you have now made the video. But after making the mobile camera how long can we use this mobile continuously. Will actually work two to three days in a row? Sir, I would request that you send us a testing video of using the mobile for four to five days.

AtHome Camera is free and it does the same thing for all mobile devices, including PC's with additional webcams.

Don't need to spend $300 on a Nest cam ! Any $25 ebay iP cam will work. Good advice !

Ok now I get it the phone has to have access to the internet before you can access the security cameras that was kept in these locations. Now my last question is since you are using 3 phones for your security camera's, that means in other for you to download the iCamSource to each of these phones it will cost 5 quid right, or you pay for the download for one phone and download free to the other phones you want to use for your security camera.

Cool, I did this a couple months ago but with android phones to monitor outside my house. Its just hard finding a place where you can keep the charger connected.

Hi thanks for sharing. Can I ask you a question? I wish to put my old mobile phone as a CCTV (in battery mode). Once the mobile phone screen is Auto OFF or SLEEP, will the CCTV software still operating for both devices?

Use the app Presence! Free and way more awesome then iCam!

I tested it the phones they get so hot while recording others either explode or melt its battery this wont work on long term it sucks waste of time.
