For those of you wondering, I will tell you the steps for the charging to function.

•pull out the lightning cable and shut down your phone

•then once shut down, use a blow dryer and blow dry the speakers and the lightning port for two minutes.

• after this, turn on your phone and try charging it, let me know if it worked.

Thanks so much for the tips! My phone is working now! I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max. I couldn’t find my hair dryer, so I turned off my phone and left it on an adjustable stand so it was completely vertical for about 10 minutes. Then, I formed a tissue into a long point and stuck it in the port as far as possible. I have a toy mini desk vacuum with usb. It’s the size of my hand and only good for cleaning keyboards and crumbs on a desk. It doesn’t have much power. While still holding the phone completely vertical, I suctioned the port for a few minutes, then I turned the phone back on and plugged a different charger into it. The error message was gone and my phone started charging again! It was raining the other day and I tried to protect my phone under an umbrella, but I guess some moisture must have gotten in. Whew! I just wanna say THANK YOU SO MUCH! You've saved my iPhone 14! I accidentally dropped my phone into the sink.
