WOW, Thank you so much. Nothing like this ever works for me. But right out of the gate I tried the hard reset that I didn't even know existed. I had to hold mine down for a little longer but... sure enough! Apple logo popped up. I'm so appreciative, thank you thank you thank you!!!

For anyone trying method one, I thought it didn’t work but I tried it again and held down the power button for a very long time and it eventually turned on. I use that trick to fix my phone if it’s acting weird, but never realized there was a such thing as it’s not turning on. Glad this was the easy fix for that as well!

1st step worked for me! But I had to keep the turn on button pressed for a bit longer then you.

After you press the up volume key, then the low volume key, you have to hold the power button down until you see the apple icon...
Holding the power button down could take a minute or so..

If i force update will all my photos and stuff be gone

Mine is just showing apple logo it goes on and off but is a black screen when unplugged . When I put it in recovery mode to fix it comes out of recovery mode after so long so it can’t update

Updated my iPhone 12 mini to the iOS 17 then my phones battery life went from 60% to 3% then cut out as it was updating and now my phone will not turn on, I have tried these methods but still not working, any help will be appreciated 🙏🏼
