" My statutes, my commands, my law, my mo'edim will be a MARK on your HEAD and HAND, ( thoughts and actions?) this mark will mark you as my set aside peculiar people. Many were looking for Messiah to come the 1st time. They were all completely wrong about how it would go down. Not just the pharisees either. Even the disciples were expecting something else. I think it is wise to keep all these possibilities open. Even the ones about spritualizing the mark and the buying and selling. We all lean towards what we think is the strongest candidate and that's fine. I'm just saying don't ever be so sure. None of us really know how it's gonna play out.

I think spiritualizing the part about not being able to buy or sell without the mark is a mistake. Being unable to partake in the economic side of society without a mark is pretty specific.

Although the theme of this teaching is about one of the many, long and heavily debated Biblical topics, the conclusion drawn here speaks to the "heart of the matter" of all matters! It speaks volumes as it offers significant insight about the theme of the entirety of YHWH's Word. "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God (YHWH), and YAHUSHA HA'MASHIACH whom You have sent." - John 17:3. Knowing and applying YHWH's Torah, (obedience from the heart), will ultimately reveal whether or not each of us have either accepted the mark of YHWH or the mark of the beast. "Here is a call for the endurance of the saints, those who keep the Commandments of YHWH and their faith in YAHUSHA." - Revelation 14:12. "By your endurance you will gain your lives." - Luke 21:19. King YAHUSHA urges us to enter by the Way of the narrow gate. YAHUSHA (The Living Word, The Way) leads to life!!
