Most of these cars can easily run you $5000 to $12000 to maintain in the first few months of ownership. A used Ferrari is only a good deal to someone that can afford a new one.

a car-salesman and a bank-clerk told me that almost 60 - 70% of all these modern, beautiful, cutting edge-technology cars we see on the road are bought on credits... even a poor worker who earns a small wage can afford a luxury car nowadays. almost everyone with a steady job will get a 10 - 40k (€) credits without any questions. It's all about keeping the capitalistic economy system running..
so... why people judge others by these superficial things?

I think you made the mistake of assuming people are here for your personality, when in fact we just want to look at cars. I find that the new M5 is actually quite a bit better looking than the older one. I just prefer BMW over Mercedes Benz

The maintanence costs will be killing on all these used cars. And the problem is that many of them usually already had a 2nd owner that did it all on the cheap resulting in expensive upcoming stuff.
