Mirage is the only true bad vehicle on this list. The rest are great transportation options. Very telling that Honda and Toyota make nothing affordable anymore

We received 3 2024 Chevy Trax at work today, a base model and an LT. They're surprisingly nice and roomy. I'm 6'3 and found the driver seat comfortable. The rear had more space than I expected too. The only real issues I saw is that the screen might be a reach for most people and the passenger seat cannot be raised or lowered. As someone who is tall with all torso, my head rubbed the roof in the passenger side.

Not sure those base Hyundai/Kia trims are recommendable given the rash of thefts of key-start ignition models. Also, some insurance companies won't insure them.

before watching - curious to know how accurate my memory is of this off the top of my head, but while I don't like the CVT, my pick would probably be the Nissan Sentra. A car that's probably currently the best deal on the automotive market place, imo.

The list will probably also include the Chevy trax (I'd rather walk) the Ford EcoSport (I'd rather walk over hot coals), Kia Soul (not bad, I just don't want an "suv"), the Mitsubishi Mirage (provided they haven't killed it yet), and a few other's I'm most likely forgetting exist.

Nice to find this channel. Have a well cared for 2003 Honda Element which has plenty of miles left. I chauffer my ninety year old mother with it. A month ago the catalytic converter was stolen and the entire exhaust system was damaged because pipes were cut and the muffler was damaged. Because the car is so old after market parts were purchased and now the car sounds not only like a race car (sounds like an exhaust leak actually) the car jerks too because of whatever. The money spent on a new exhaust cost an arm and a leg and the car doesn't run right. I don't blame the mechanic but I am going to see him tomorrow and if he can't do anything I'm going to bite the bullet and trade it in for a new car which my mother can get into and out of without killing the wallet. Again, nice to find this channel because I am window shopping right now.

the Versa doubled in price in less than 5 years (ouch).... the Jetta S 6spd manual (at #10) is a horrible manual transmission (focused on fe) and you are better w/the auto. Get the GLI or GTI for your sporty VW needs....

Stay away from any Nissan CVT I worked there as a detailer and they kept the cores by our bays every week they had atleast 10 transmissions out there JUNK

I can't take this seriously. Rio is below the mirage? Nobody would do that. Nobody. And why is the CVT being sold as a positive? It turns your car into a moaning weird thing. The only plus is fuel economy. CVTs make the car half as exciting to drive and they make the engine sound like garbage.
