DATA:

In this video, I want to give you a good tip for osteoarthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune disease, and osteoarthritis is your body’s normal compensation for wear and tear.

With osteoarthritis, there is inflammation involved and a decrease in joint space. But, if osteoarthritis is not an autoimmune disease, then why does it often affect the finger joints, which are not weight-bearing?

There is a sub-category of osteoarthritis called nodal generalized osteoarthritis. There is data that suggests that this condition has an autoimmune component. Women have a higher risk for this condition, especially if they are postmenopausal.

There are also interesting studies relating to a higher amount of dysbiosis (an alteration in friendly bacteria) with osteoarthritis.

If you have osteoarthritis, it’s important that you support your gut by consuming cabbage. There is an interesting study that demonstrated a positive outcome when you consume cabbage leaf wraps.

Benefits of cabbage (especially in the form of sauerkraut):
• It’s very good for the stomach, ulcers, and the GI system
• It’s one of the best vegetables for people who have difficulties consuming vegetables
• It feeds your microbes, which then produces things that are anti-inflammatory
• It's a good source of L-glutamine, which supports leaky gut

Leaky gut and problems with the GI system are nearly always involved in autoimmune diseases. Whether you have osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis, you may want to see if consuming cabbage helps you.

I did everything from fish oil to fermented food. The only thing that REALLY works is good amount of TURMERIC at every meal. I am 55. My knees and toes used to be in pain once every three month. The pain would go up to six weeks, swollen area above knees.. so much suffering. Now I feel like a girl in my 20s! For over a year! But I have to be consistent not to miss a day. All the best to you my dear sufferers

I was recently diagnosed with total body osteoperosis and osteopena - I am 56yrs of age. I was born with a hereditary autoimmune disorder nd food allergies such as wheat and milk (milk also contains traces of wheat and everything else the cow eats) that kept my body inflammed so that I could not absorb enough calcium andother necessary vitamins and nutrients. The doctor diagnosed me with failure to thrive because he did not know about the food allergies or autoimmune disorder. So, I was malnourished most of my life until I was 40yrs of age and saw an episode of the medical drama HOUSE that a patient had all my same major symptoms. She was diagnosed with malnutrition related to Celiac's disease. I do not have Celiac's but I am gluten intolerant as well as intolerant to all GMOs and inorganics with peaticide residue, and preservatives, etc.. I immediately changed my diet and my health improved greatly. I lost the skeletal appearance that I had most of my life. Sadly, I still suffer other related symptoms from the damage that occured from long term malnutrition and bouts of inflammation brought on by allergies and hypersensitivities and chronic virus inflammation that caught me at a young age. No I struggle mainly with adrenals, nervous system, and vascular issues from episodes of thick blood and weak veins that collaps then rupture.

It is my goal to help others before their bodies deteriorate to the point of permanent damage.

I was diagnosed with Osteoarthritis by my Orthopedic Surgeon. Full hip replacement required, as I could barely walk. I started on Glucosamine Chondroitin based on my own research. Within 10 days, the pain began to gradually subside. Within 15 days, I woke up almost pain free. 95% better than I was. I am sold on this product.

There are so many videos on osteoarthritis, but no one relates it to gut condition (microbiome). Thank you so much!

I'm only 29 and have been diagnosed with arthritis in spine since age 22. No one has really mentioned anything to help besides exercise and maintain healthy weight. The last 2 years I've been on a more natropathic journey. Trying to learn as much as I can to save my back and body. Thank you for all of your videos. I've learned so much.

I recently began eating raw green cabbage with a mix of apple cider vinegar and cold pressed extra virgin olive oil and when I can afford it I add avacados or cucumbers. My gut has felt so much better, and I feel less hungry throughout the day after eating a big bowl of this. I have noticed other improvements in my energy levels and pain reduction as well. I tried to ferment some at home but it became moldy after 3 days.

74 years old and OA is now interferring in my life more so. I eat fermented sauerkraut daily but only in the mornings. Will increase it throughout day. Do gentle exercises, use topical ointment and take tylenol as needed. Best to maintain movement but don't overdo. Not overweight.

I have osteoarthritis in both knees and was considering knee replacement, but since adding fresh coriander and parsley leaves to my salads and smoothies every day, I no longer need surgery. I also add organic tumeric powder to my warm drinks and sprinkle it over my hot meals, too.

Interesting. I've been eating cabbage throughout my life without knowing its effectiveness against autoimmune. No doubt I didn't have any arthritis, nor joints pain, aside I do fasting, and semi keto. My plantar fasciitis, has gone too. I'm 64 active woman. Thank you for this info

Hyaluronic acid, DHA and type 2 collagen really helped my arthritis. Had it since age 16. Type 1& 3 helps my horrible rotor cuffs. Type 2 and Type 1&3 helps my knees.

I have OA in my left knee. Was told 6 years ago i need a knee replacement
I now take chicken gelatine every morning
The doctor can’t believe that I’m walking unaided and not in any pain. They laughed at first but then done a study on me. No knee replacement!

I have Osteoarthritis in my neck & Osteoporosis in my spine & hips. I have good days & bad days but won’t take drugs, instead I changed my eating habits & took up the challenge to build better bones, with aid of weigh bearing exercises & some supplements. After my 1st year I’ve had small gains, so this keeps me motivated to improve more within next year.
I’ve been empowered by Dr Berg, & his advice, so Dr Berg if you read this, your blood is worth bottling. Cheers from Brisbane Australia 🐨

Fantastic. thank you so much. Have just returned from the doctors and radiologists after things got so bad that I can barely walk. Have just, half an hoiur ago been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in ankles and feet. But strangly, like you said, I also have aches around hand and fingers where there is no weight bearing. When this pain relieving injection kicks in, in a couple of days, and I can walk, I will be walking to the bus to get to the shops to buy some cabbage. thank you again. You always give me a sense of hope.
