The Bible condemns drunkenness. Drinking a little and getting sloppily drunk are two very different things. Jesus drank moderate amounts of wine himself and no it wasn’t juice.

If Jesus didn't drink alcoholic wine, how did he have anything to drink at the Last Supper? The two most likely years for the death of Christ were 31 AD and 33 AD. The Passover in both those years was held in April. The Last Supper was a Passover meal during which Jesus drank wine. Assuming that the wine he consumed was unfermented grape juice, how could he have had any grape juice to drink if the grape harvest in Israel ends in October. Did Jesus invent refrigeration and pasteurization, but neglect to mention it?

Yes, he made water into wine at the wedding in Cana, and the groom and bride and all the guests were overjoyed at it. It was also better wine than what was there earlier and had run out!
