INFJ’s are often referred to as the “Advocate” or “Idealist,” and they frequently feel misunderstood. Perhaps it’s because they’re the rarest MBTI personality type, accounting for only 1% to 3% of the population in the United States.

Today we’re going to explore a ew things that might be the most relatable things to a true INFJ.

They understand everyone. But no one understands them. The INFJ personality truly is a major gift that comes at a major price.

I don't think I've ever met another INFJ so it is awesome to see so many of you on here ❤. I'm 37 now and have tested INFJ many times. This video is spot on!

As an INFJ, I must say that we feel like we don't have the right to speak about our problems, and even if We do when the other person doesn't give us the response we are searching for, they make us feel like we are overreacting. We keep complicating things in our head, but honestly, it is very special to be an INFJ.

As another INFJ this was insanely accurate. My friends often confide in me and have given me the constant nickname of "therapist". I do my best helping others, I immerse myself in it. I have a large social circle despite being extremely introverted, and I try to retain a connection with every one of my friends despite the large amount. Even so, I find it extremely difficult to open up. So much so that I fool myself into thinking that I do sometimes.

You know, it's crazy how true people gravitating towards you is. I work in a job that tends to be a lot of socialization and interaction with others but at times I become "overwhelmed" and kind of get lost in my own mind as a way to separate myself and decompress. Despite me undoubtedly looking depressed or lost, people will come up to me, stand next to me, and start talking about their issues. I've even had people tell me that they don't know why but they almost felt compelled to talk to me about their issues. Like I exuded some kind of friendly energy and positive vibe. Coupled with loving to help them and truly loving those around me, I really find joy in these interactions. And, as crazy as it sounds, I've really grown to love and understand myself better as a result of knowing my personality type. It just can be so exhausting sometimes.

Being an INFJ is like a blessing and a curse. My INFJ experience on the blessing part is that I have hope in life. I think that life is beautiful even though their are bad things in it. Those don't last long. I can also live in the moment. Being an INFJ can make you understand the beauty of life. However, the curse is that we're perfectionist and when things dont get done we feel unmotivated. I have a love/hate relationship with myself

When I found out I was an INFJ I finally understood why I always felt a little different and why no one in my family ever understood me.Also, I was always labelled as weird since they are all extroverted. The conflict thing kills me. I literally suffer for days and I still find myself mulling over arguments years later. I like who I am but its not easy being an INFJ surrounded by people who think you are "too sensitive" so those me-time breaks are so important. I might share this video with people in the future who want to understand me better.

I am an INFJ, and I teared listening to this video. So misunderstood and keep trying to be better while others may take advantage of it. Have to learn to be tougher to others, especially because only being tough to those you love will help them grow. Man thank you for doing this, love the comments here!

This was very insightful! And the part about literature and writing...SO ACCURATE. I'm a INFJ and I write deep novels mainly focusing on each character's inner thoughts and turmoils. So many other things hit home as well!

I actually became emotional watching this. I've gotten INFJ results after testing several times over the years. I have always felt different. I feel like I see things entirely different than everyone else. And I value my differing perspectives a lot, but at the same time, I feel so alone. Being an INFJ is a blessing and a curse. This video did a great job at helping me feel less isolated. 💕

I'm an INFJ. I indeed am a great listener. I keep my secrets to myself and I never open up. Everything in this video is true. It's hard to make others understand us. My favourite point is about how everyone gets drawn to us. This is the most accurate thing ever. All we do is just stare at them or maybe nothing and they already start liking us. One of the popular girls made me sit next to her because she wanted me to befriend her. Many people tell that I'm a bit mysterious as I always listen to others and barely share anything about myself. I have the rarest type of INFJ and I'm proud of that.

Team Introvert all the way! For me as an INFJ myself, I feel like I can relate to all of what was explained in this video, but despite all the bad things that might happen, I will always try to stay positive whenever possible. Sometimes, it doesn't always work out and I just break down and feel really bad and blame myself about what happened, but I won't let that feeling control me. This is why I find doing art is really calming. I feel like this video is very accurate.

No matter how many times I've tested for this, it always results INFJ. Recently, my current boyfriend also had INFJ results after multiple trials. It's both a blessing and a curse to be INFJs. We're both very sensitive about each other's feelings and often have the same principles and outlooks in life. We also have a very keen sense of deciphering people's personalities. It surprises us how we always have common opinions about people. We work harmoniously around the house. No need to discuss roles, the division of work just flows. The downside is that we also both have the same flaws. We much prefer to be with our own company when in a big group of people, so people would think we're weird or family members would think us uncooperative. We either procrastinate a lot on our tasks or we zone out whenever we're so focused on doing something that we can't notice when the other is calling to us. We've both reflected on our good and bad traits and remind each other when we're leaning towards our bad habits again. My favorite part of the day is when both of us share this common silence in a room and we both get to do our hobbies in peace. Occasionally looking up to the other to check if we're doing okay.

As an INFJ, I found the whole video extremely accurate. My social anxiety makes me immensely introverted, but what mostly helps me fight it is by helping other people, no matter if it's family, friends, or even strangers. Kindness and empathy will always be the biggest strengths in my eyes.

This is all spot on, as they say. I find the affirming cred very comforting. I frequently lose sight of who I am.

I love this voice over. So soothing to listen to. Wish more YouTube videos had this narration style.
