Where do they sell these receptacles?? Mine NEVER go around the screw easily. At least a solid 1.5 minutes, and two screwdrivers to force it around the screws, EACH SCREW.

Important TIP: Start with the ground wire when installing receptacles and remove the ground wire last when changing receptacles. Crazy things could happen when working electricity. Better be sure that the current will use the ground wire (NOT YOU) on its way back to the source.

Does it matter which screw your attach the hot and neutral to (top or bottom terminal screw)?

The outlets I am replacong all have electrical tape wrapped around the inside to cover all the contacts. I have kept doing that.

Okay but what do you do when the wire doesn’t go around the screw but it goes into the holes at the back of the switch? Please help.

Dont think that was clockwise there on black, but can always flip it around
