Great video. Didn't know my wire strippers had a crimper on them. Silly me. The old adage 'You learn something new everyday' rings true

Nicely done. Straight to the point, no fluff, no attempt to be funny, no saying "like" or "basically" every other word, and good diction. Very good video. Thank you.

Thank you, I know about a couple of trades (pipe fitting, glass, and countertops) yet no wiring knowledge. Because of this video I fix some damaged wires on my trailer (spent $20) and I am now officially introduced into wiring 101. Good day!

Replaced turn signal switch in our ‘64 Ford Galaxie 500XL. This video was exceptional; helped me decide what type of connectors to use to hook up Rockauto replacement switch to original factory wiring harness. Thank you!

A little tip for gauging the 1/4" strip: the thickness of a typical wire stripper is 1/8", use this as a gauge. I usually insert the wire level with the side of the stripper and make a small nip on the insulation. Then move the nip to level with the side of the stripper and strip the wire. Result: a perfect 1/4" strip. Another tip: if you close the stripper on the insulation, then release it, rotate the wire 90 degrees, reclose the stripper and then strip, the stripping goes easier. Nice video, I'll have to get some butt connectors with heatshrink already installed.

Thanks for this. I like to utilize the feature on the heat gun that allows it to stand on it's own (business end pointed towards the ceiling). That way you can more easily control the wire using both hands, which has the additional benefit of limiting burned fingers.

Nice clean and clear video. Very well done and informative if you've never used a butt connector in shrink tubing before!

I've never used the butt connectors before...wish I'd have known about them a couple days ago when I was soldering my wire together. This would have been just fine...next time, I guess.

Thanks from Texas!

Very nice video.  Perfect timing so as to not be too fast for novices to keep up and take in what you're saying, and very clear and concise.  Excellent!

I use these for a JVS arcade power supply and they work excellent. Soldering on the other hand can be a pain in the butt if you don't have the proper workspace to do it in, though very handy for retro game cartridges.
