Twisted wires have no contact pressure to prevent oxidation over time, leading to increase resistance, causing heating and possibly fire. Solder it, crimp it, use a screw or spring terminal.

As others who are professionals have said, "Tricks" done by someone who does not understand electricity. The physical strength of pulling wires apart does not make it a good "connection". Some of those will cause a fire sooner than later. And none of those will ever pass a code inspection.

As an industrial electrician, if I see people spending that much time on wire connecting that leads to unsafe conditions, guarantee I will be requesting that you be terminated. There is a reason soldering and certain kind of connectors are used. Please don't follow the person in this video's work. He is obviously not an electrician but most likely is a weekend mechanic that helps his friends install stereos.

And the connected N+PE or any other colour code is probably one of my favourite when i find it. I realy missed the part tough, where you wave together Cu and Al preferably with different diameters, thats the most surefire way to lighten up your house.

"Electricians" don't tie bit's of wire together and hide it under a bit of tape. That can end in killing someone.

Не надо учить скруткам, прямой путь к пожару.
В 60годы в учебниках такое было, да и нагрузки были мизерные, провод тоже был Сu, ПРД.
СЕЙЧАС нагрузки значительно возросли электрочайник берет 10А.
Пожарные требуют соединять пайкой, сваркой, болтом (винтом).
Для всех будущих энергетиков и действующих поделюсь собственным опытом.
Надо было подключить ВЭТ- 400, НА ОБЬЕКТЕ. Водонагреватель электрический теновый на 400 л, мощностью 12 кВт.Протянули кабель КРПТ-10 ММ 2. ДО ЩИТА не хватило метра 4, нашли другой кусок такого же кабеля, соединили скруткой. Причём соединения жил сделали в разных местах, разнесли чтобы не были напротив друг друга. Замотали х/ изолентой, сверху натянули кембрики. Все соединение спрятали в п/ этиленовую трубку. Года через три это соединение воспламенилось. Слесарь отключил и погасил. Причём к /з не было. Запомнилось на всю жизнь.
Мой первый учитель, фронтовик, штурман, капитан запаса Палехов Константин Иванович всегда нам говорил: Ребятки запомните, самое главное в электрике - хороший контакт и хорошая изоляция. Он летал на бомбардировку Берлина в августе 1941г, Вечная ему память!,

Electricians know all about this, they have to rectify it all the time. Insurance companies and the fire brigade also know about it. I just wish ppl who post irresponsible YT videos could be held responsible when other idiots do what they say and cause damage, injury and death.

3:50 I like this one; It looks just like the Finnish Pulla loaves I bake at Christmas. Nevertheless I would solder it, as this not only makes it stronger but provides a hermetic seal between the conductors, preventing oxidation or corrosion.

Электрикам совершенно пофиг, знаете вы этот способ, или нет. Скрутки запрещены не из-за того, что вам пытаются впарить более дорогие способы соединения, а для вашей же безопасности, если подобную фигню сделать временно, и повешать на неё свет, то конечно же ничего не будет, но вот если взять какой нибудь провод старый и скрутить подобную хрень, а после же запитать, что-то помощнее лампочки, и забыть, то данное соединение со временем может начать греться, что может стать причиной пожара. Стоит ли рисковать и практиковать подобные скрутки решайте сами, паяльник, канифоль и олово можно купить за 300 рублей.
