I feel like MDM records is more closely knit and also zerkaa's connections help with ooc platforms and getting artists verified on spotify faster. Just in general if you want to pursue music ooc Mdm records has a better support system as opposed to just p money in wu chang, not to mention that p money being cool with mdm records and can collab with them anyway

MDM Records is more like a family, really close with each other, and very close to the Mandem as if you can hangout and chill with the Mandem and do jobs with them and they treat you as you’re at the same level as them, I can’t see Wu Chang artists have the same relationship with each other and with Chang Gang.

The big difference is the support system that the people at the top give the artists. While P Money is doing a good job doing everything to provide the best for their artists, everybody in MDM supports their artists. They listen to their music on stream, hyping them fuck out of it.
I’m not saying Wu Chang doesn’t support their artist but I don’t think they care on the same level as MDM does, they want everybody’s music to be heard. And not just in the city but making sure a spotify presence is there.

What I think the main difference is:

Zerkaa tries to lift smaller streamers up with him. He's always sharing the love. He isn't even heavily involved with MDMR, he wants Dwayne to be the leader of it. But still, he's very approachable for MDMR artists and he RPs with them. Next to that MDM as a whole chills with them and do fun things with them.

I remember them hearing Cocaine Cowboy never did a jewellery store before. So Lana, Vince and Moses all dressed up in cowboy outfits and took him to one. Or another time Dean was flexing on Tommy about who the better looking was. So Tommy invited the Bimbos (a new girl group signed by MDMR) to come to the block and rate their looks. A week ago Tommy also came online after Zerkaa was watching Sparky's stream. With Sparky performing at the block for a few friends. He jumped on and chilled with them for a bit and dipped offline again. Zerkaa also told Cocaine Cowboy he'd pay for the beat of his song because there was a copyright issue with it.

Interactions like that is what makes it fun for the MDMR artists. They can drop by the block and just chill, have some fun and play some music on the mic.

The biggest difference is Zerkaa and the clout he brings with himself. If they wanna actually pursue music, then MDM will surely be a better place than Wu-chang.

I understand these takes of MDM Records is more inclusive and helps the artists more with non musical things but people also forget MDM have hella less artists/employees on the books and its a "new cool thing" for MDM where they enjoy the RP with each artist but when it starts expanding and MDM have more artists like WuChang it becomes impossible to be able to please every artist and chill with every artist, and then like with Wuchang the artists that arent at the top of the priorities will end up feeling left out wanting to leave and probably run back to WuChang, RN i think MDM need to concentrate on events and money making for the label because soon enough artists will start wanting the money flowing into their banks like they did with Wuchang, its impossible to make everybody happy especially when peoples issues with Wuchang was that they "felt left out" from events but never put their name forward or used initiative to make their own events, like as a record label your job is to please your top artists and give them what they want but when rhe Artist doesnt come to you and tell you what they want how is Wuchanf supposed to assume what people want? And RP wise its Artists that go to their labels to ask for things not labels asking Artists

Issue is for CG & Wu Chang is CG is already very established and has all the members it'll probably ever have at this point already so they don't get very close to their artists in the same way as MDM do, because MDM is not only still expanding but they have the space to accommodate those people, in terms of OOC shit Wu chang can offer the same as MDM but only if you want it, but yeah Chang Gang is more in character music for those that aren't too serious about their music and are just look for the inrp benefits of CG such as server sized events and being under the wing of CG, Whereas MDM is like a load of artists all working together towards trying to make it within the actual music scene outside of RP

I think its pretty true to real life. IRL being a artist at a studio owned by majority music oriented people would be much better then being signed by a studio that is owned by some rich people who don't have a massive interest in music and did it to make money.

Fair enough actually, mdmr more for people that close to mdm or already established artist while wcr is the go to for newcomer who wants make a name for themselves and wcr can provide it since they have bigger resources and platform.

The biggest difference and really only important one IMO is that CG doesn't take it as serious as MDM. In this instance K, he has no attention span and moves on quickly. It will happen with anything CG does. I've been watching CG for years, it's just how it is at this point.

Everyone saying MDM is better or WuChang is better is dumb. Please stop comparing the two because they are different whereas WuChang gets artist and support music for the city and with CGs' fanbases their music gets out there and help they city hold events for people. MDM is somewhat along the same line but they are smaller and more focused with their artist since they don't have many and they can help with getting your music known out of the city. Don't get me wrong P money can do that too but also remember Wuchang has a big foundation in the city so naturally they have more stuff to support them and others. Really the only way to chose what too join is by seeing who you click with. MDM does have good artist and OCC help but if you haven't really been watching CG for a long time then you won't know about the other good artist whos name aren't known due to bad tickets.
