Ribeye is a great cut. Looks good! When you add the garlic, & herb, butter reduce the heat, & spoon the butter over the steak while continuing to turn them until completely melted . Thats how they taught us in culinary school, & ive been making them in restaurants this way for 15yrs.

I don’t know where you’re from, but you didn’t wash that meat! The blood pallet is still in the tray while you season the beef. You have to rinse the meat, the processors might not have done what they were supposed to do before packaging it!
