In this video, Dr. Berg answers the question about the units of certain nutrients.

With fat-soluble vitamins, they use something called IU's or International Units, which is the potency or concentration of something. You don’t really need to be alarmed if you see large amounts of IU's.

Take vitamin D with vitamin K2 which works with D3 to help mobilize calcium and keep it from going in the wrong place. Hypercalcemia is not very common and it is too much calcium in the blood.

Symptoms of Hypercalcemia
• High blood pressure
• Dehydration
• Decrease appetite
• Irritability
• Fatigue
• Weak

Back in Winter of 2018, I was taking 10, 000 UI of vitamin D3, because I was reading how the CDC said people become more deficient during the winter, and I didn’t want to get sick. Interestingly enough, my whole family caught the flu, except for me.

As a Cluster Headache survivor, I started out with 50K IUs of Vitamin D3, along with Magnesium, K2, Fish Oil, Vitamin A, and Tumeric Curcumin. When I started taking these vitamins, the headaches were diminished greatly. Since I’ve been on Keto, the headaches are a thing of the past

My doc told me to take 50, 000 IU’s every 5 days. It did the trick. The bone and joint pain I was having went away and I felt so much better. I’ve been doing this for 8 years now with great results.

I take 5000iu daily and have for years... and started the K2 accompaniment a couple years ago. Tried going up to 6000 a couple times and just didn’t feel right all day, so I figured I’m at the right dosage for my body. I think the key is listening to your body and paying attention to its response when taking supplements.

I had been taking D3 for years and when the annual blood tests came around I would still be really low. I took Dr. Bergs 10, 000 IU D3/K2 for about 6 months and the doctor told me that I don’t need to take D3 anymore…I am so happy!

I was told years ago to take vit D at 8-10 000 IUs to help with depression. Made a big difference. I continue doing so even in summer or while on sunny vacation. 🌞

I take 10, 000 iu a day....sometime 15, 000. Last year my level was 83! Some one that I know had a stroke. They told me their D level in blood was 7. Another friend has a stroke about a month ago. They said their vitamin D level was 8. I get the picture! ....I don't get colds or flu any more!

Thank you for clarifying the mg and unit. A nurse practitioner looked at my bit d3 and k2 sitting on my table. She told me that was way too much. Apparently she needs to go back to school. I had continued taking your product as I trusted you already. Thank you Dr Berg. It is a mine field out here trying to navigate can be difficult!

Thank you Dr Berg. It infuriates me seeing the recommendations from the government or the FDA. Their recommendations are so low because they know it won't help you. They don't want us to be well, they profit off of us being sick.

To share you my experience, I've been taking 30.000-50.000 IU Vitamin D3 for more than 5 years, and I am doing fine without any problems. I do take vitamin K2 MK7 + magnesium bisglycinate in high quantities and refrain from taking calcium supplementation to avoid any issues with hypercalcimia. So Vitamin D3 above 10.000 IU is safe if you know what not to do.

My rheumatologist tested me, I virtually had no D in my body, no B12, which I was told caused nerve damage, so I had to have mega load doses of D and load doses of B12. I’m on high dose D and B 12 injections for life now, definitely feel better for it. 👍🏻🇬🇧

I've been taking 10, 000iu a day for years, (even though our government recommends 400iu, ) when anyone in my house gets colds, I double my dose for about a week, to stop me getting it. So far so good. Lol. Take care. 💖🙂🐶

Ive been taking 10, 000 IU's a day for years along with sun 15 to 20 min of sun exposure from 10 to 2 when I can get out, a multi vitamin and K2 with m7. No toxicity whatsoever.

I did 1/4 million IU/day straight two weeks in a row. No toxicity effect, nice boost. Starting level 62, after it is >150. Feeling really great. K2 of course within guidelines everyday.
