Depends on who you are. My used civic si was 23k and i lm smart enough to know I'm not getting a decent tesla for that. Your cars are expensive for alot of people

The cheapest Tesla base price is currently 40k for the model 3, 47k for the Y, 88k for the S and 98k for the X. Those are the minimum prices for base model of each Tesla model. In contrast not counting trucks Chevrolet offers 11 models starting under 40k, 7 under 30k including EV's. You have to choose the suburban, tahoe or Corvette to find a chevy with a starting price above 50k and none of those are models with direct competition from Tesla.

The reason Tesla doesn't market their low prices is because they can't without getting laughed at. It gets worse if they admit that most of their add ons are non-transferable subscription services that can simply be disabled by Tesla even though the cars are still capable of performing the functions.

They sell everything they make. Usually with a waiting list. Why increase demand with advertising?

Make it below the median price not the average. If you count quarter mil half a mil and million dollar cars into the "average" of course tesla will be below the "average" this is such stupid reasoning. The most basic cheapest tesla costs like 30 grand. That's not cheap at all

The average I've spent on cars in the last 5yrs is about $18, 000.... these were all fairly new cars with very low miles... not getting a Tesla for that.
