I don't know what's better, your smooth calm delivery in the videos or the concise technical breakdowns of the thought process behind your technical choices. Very impressive overall, I'm certain Sandfire will shape up to greater than your expectations. :-)

Awesome progress! I noticed you have ~1000 draw calls. If you're looking into places for optimizations, I would recommend trying to batch more of your objects together (preferably with a particle shader) to reduce the amount of draw calls.

We really need to know count of lights in your scene and general polycount of that "colosseum". Please, also specify how many there are shadow-casting lights.
