I reset my PC, and was at that window. I was connected to my Wi-Fi and it would not let me proceed.


Stupid things like that would have given me a reason to smash my device but you saved me some money today.

This still works as of 8/2/2022. Windows 11 setup on my new PC would not detect the Internet with the ethernet plugged in. Don't know what the issue was, but this bypassed it.

Edit: Windows 11 does not have the z690 ethernet drivers on the current download that I made to a USB drive from Microsoft. Downloading the board drivers from MSI fixed the issue.

Try this: Connect to your network...as soon as the "next" button is available, hit it and then turn off your Hotspot or router that you just connected to

Just for anyone wanting to try this it no longer works and there may not be a way currently to not connect to the internet when setting up windows 11
