The quality of life living in Germany is way better… less pollution, better healthcare, better transportation and lot more, so you can’t say that your living will be better in India at same salary that’s not even close to the truth… better infrastructure and trust me it’s very quiet

20 LPA in India is high income. You can afford decent home, car, healthcare, schools etc. You can hire maids, eat at decent restaurants and afford holidays in India and surrounding countries. You can also save / pension schemes / insurance / build a decent wealth portfolio. To me, that is good enough quality of life. Living close to your family and celebrating your own culture is priceless.

Sometimes it is better to move to a different country like Germany where you can get quality education for your kids. Being in open category with 90 percentage is useless against 60 percentage in sc st category. Sad to say, education has become business in india even if the country has grown in different fields.

I think you are confused. In India tax rate is 30% for 20LA, Which means even with your EMI, Principle, Health insurance you cannot save not more than 4L for tax exemption, in this case for Emi you have to pay 48K P/Month, as per your saving it would be 1.1L p/m and not 1.5K, then again kids schooling, for 2 kids it would be 2.5 L/A, then 1.1L - 21K = 89K, House general needs per month is 40K nominal (Petrol, EB, Internet, Groceries & Veggies), which is 89K-40K = 49K would be max savings not even close to 1.1L

Quality of life is completely different from money and salary
German cities like Frankfurt, Munich and Berlin rank in the top 30 best cities to live in the world
Quality of life ≠ money

Totally wrong calculation as I show she is doing partially.
I live in Berlin as a electrical engineer ... If you have package of 25lpa India which too high and possibility is less and if we talk about highest salary in Germany is 1, 10, 000 euro.
After paying all taxes in hand salary is 16lakh in India and 75000(₹ 41, 04, 000 ~ 41LPA ) in Germany.

But do consider after paying off for kids education in India every month if you admit them to best schools. Min 1L per year.

This is such a basic categorisation, you have absolutely not taken into consideration that in India you need to save up for Children's education, primary schools cost around 1lpa, all of that then college... education in Germany compared to this is cheaper. Secondly you did not take into account healthcare. Indian families save/invest large chunk of their income for healthcare.
If India was better, why did you go to Germany?

ok..lets take an example..for 80%job holders in India they would need a minimum 7 years of experience to reach 20L..they will fall in age 30+…and they might get handsome salary for the next 10years..what about after age 40?
Not sure 100% about Germany..with the information i have..the life will be secure after 40 and good benefits to maintain the rest of life…

Most important aspect (education costs) didn’t cover in the video..in India 20% salary goes towards education

What is a good salary as a single parent with two kids? I am talking making enough to buy a property down the line. I have a bachelors degree and speak English and German at the native level.

And what if a person is earning 40, 000 per month in india and 25 lacs annually in germany, is it worth it to settle in germany ??

Cost of living 40k in Bangalore is a joke. Rent 30k groceries 8k EB, WiFi, maintenance, maid 8k, petrol 5k, kid school fee 10k per month. Miscellaneous 10k so all around 70k without car EMI. If add that too then 90k per month. Savings around 40k

Germany

Rent €1400 groceries, EB, WiFi, maintenance, insurance €1000
Savings 70k

School fee free, medical free. Quality of life 💯 work life balance💯 don't have to spend 4 hours a day in traffic.

It all comes down to one's preferences.
