as a man with 2 boys and a girlfriend who live together, i can say it is hard to make it with a "regular" salary here in sweden, 32% of the salary goes to taxes, then you pay 25% tax on everything else, exept alcohol, that is 40%.... so if you dont like taxes, do not move to sweden! you have to pay ALOT of taxes here... to be able to live as a family here in sweden you need to earn atleast 45000kr a month.

I would say that 30K is a normal salary for blue colour workers.
That means that one get about 20K after taxes.
However, the taxes take care of almost all other things, one seldome have to pay for more then ones dayly living costs.

I’m impressed how good they all are at English! Have you considered putting your microphone on a skinny stick and holding it yourself at the correct distance from the interviewee? Quite a few of them are holding it too close and causing distortion due to clipping at the audio input of whatever device you’re recording with.

As a Swede you pay 60-75% tax.

Most ignorant people don't even known it.

But if you earn 40000 before income tax then you make a decent middle class living here.

I think the most realistic people here say around 30 000. That goes up as you grow older and work longer in your profession but if you work at like, volvo, and work on the factory floor, somewhere between 25-35 000 before taxes is normal. If you make over 40 000 before taxes you definitely are in the higher earning classes. But if you go to university and such, you will most often make over 40. I don't know if this is in Stockholm or Gothenburg or something because they usually make more, but it also costs A LOT more to live there

Måste säga att det känns fortsatt sjukt att man registrerar folk att de har arbete oavsett vad tex en timme i månaden och resten som också är helt omöjliga att leva på ens om man teoretiskt sett bara skulle betala tex en femtedel eller bråkdel av vad man behöver.

Its interesting how people think in numbers... when in the end this is not relevant for a GOOD salary (am not talking of a minimum Salary).
A good salary is to be defined in % of what your basic expenses cost you. Starting with your Rent.
If you rent represent less than 30% or you salary, you have a good salary.

Vi behöver tala även med arbförmed l, Försäkringskassan osv varför det fortfarande är väldigt milt sagt helt omöjligt matematiskt att försörja sig i landet på heltid och det har ju inte blivit bättre genom årtiondena.
