My cousin lives in San Francisco 🤣 i guess now i know why he don't come bearing gifts for us when he vist (he can't afford it 🤣), i am way richer than him living in Pune with a 18lkh salary (i atleast have my own flat that i don't have to share with anyone)🤣and i save enough that i can give my other younger cousins gifts everytime i visit 🌝

The problem is just going in circles. The companies pay more, so people can spend more, the demand goes up and along with the costs. When the costs go up, the companies pay more and the circle repeats.

Bro, welcome to Mumbai. How about buying a 1bhk flat in Kalyan, 40km away from Central Mumbai? Very cheap. Coz according to ppp comparison, you will be earning 23 lakh (for 1 crore in sf). After tax, almost 17 lakh. So around 1.4 lakh per month. I'm see how you afford to live with this wage here.

That's the same reason why some people choose to live in smaller cities, towns and even villages even after getting a good education and even a decent paying job. Work from home has been a boon to many people, it's like you earn according to Bangalore standard and spend according to rural standards.
