Had a girlfriend like this when I was young for a while. However being sensitive, perhaps a little effeminate, boy myself I couldn't handle the straight brutal honesty that came out of her. There's something to be said for the softening of the blow with kinder language most women will do in their conversations. Guys being brutally honest is normalised often as jokey behaviour. A honest women is honestly a scary concept for most people and society in general, we are simply not ready for it.
