Isn't genetic ceiling constant? I thought genetic meant this is the maximum you can get based on your genes

I’m interested to know if you have any issues with your joints from all of the jumping. I used to play a lot of basketball outside on asphalt courts, and I used to do a lot of practice doing different dunks. In my 30s, my right knee started really bothering me. I decided to get as slim as I could in my late 40s, and that seemed to help a lot. I do a lot of deep lunges and I can hear my knees, cracking and popping with every one. I went to the YMCA a few days ago, did a quick warm-up and I was still able to dunk, but landing was very uncomfortable. It has always been my goal to still be able to dunk on my 50th birthday, which is in November. I plan on doing a little video for that. I’d like to improve a little bit before then. What do you suggest I do?

That is true but Isaiah during training don’t you have rest days to recover I did a jump workout of box jumps depth jumps and jump squats and my Achilles tendon worked out so I took a break what are your thoughts on this.
