Hey. Currently on the floor can’t get up. It’s funny cause I keep thinking of the commercial with the old lady falling and saying “help I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” haha😂 no but seriously I can’t get up😞

I have herniated disk and arthritis. The first few years was terrible because I was misdiagnosed I couldn’t stand up for long. The best thing for pain is not pain killers that’s the worst thing to do! Getting the shot in ur back, doing exercises to strengthen your core muscles is a HUGE help and the other huge help is to learn ur limitations if I don’t lift more then 15 pounds, keep active and don’t do anything to aggravate my back life is much better. You just can’t do things like you once did. You cant try to carry everything at once you need to make more trips to avoid carrying the weight. Do not lay in bed for more then 8 hours or your back will hurt more resting too much will give you pain. I was getting shots in my back every 3 months but after I learned my limits I now only get a shot about once a year. Do not take the easy route taking pain killers it’s not the right way that’s like putting a bandaid on a broken leg it just doesn’t work.

When you’re getting these symptoms in quarantine and wondering why....

So the army told me there’s nothing wrong for 4years. I’ve experienced numbness tingling and temporary loss of the use of my legs while trying to exercise. Literally been stranded due to flair ups during workouts. Been told it’s a “lumbar strain” but I’m 23 and literally can’t walk around Walmart without leaning on a cart. Can’t even walk down the street without anxiety of “how long till the pain starts”.

Not sure if this is what I have, all I know is I’m in extreme pain in my lower back and can’t move or walk properly.

I am the opposite, I stand 6 to 8 x3 days a week..pulled my back on the delivery, hoping the exercises help❤😊

Also holding your abs tight will take pressure off of it. So strengthen your abs/core and it'll lessin the pain.

I was doing a flexion stretch forward (trying to touch my toes) when I herniated a disk in the thoracic area in my back. Now I can't move and my hand is tingly. I was using heat! So I am going to switch to ice, and rest with my feet up. Doc told me to rest and I am getting some meds to help with inflammation and pain. Thank you for the tips!

Thanks for a great video. Would you recommend taking medicine regularly to help reduce pain or should I avoid?

I’m locked up at the moment, the only thing that will unlock my back is diazepam. When I wake up my right leg is numb, I have to wait to get the feeling back. I’ve tried exercising etc and it makes my back worse. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve got this for life, it’s never going to get better

I am suffering from Lumbar slip disc. 😪😭💔
I cannot sit down and stand for a long time.
I am in great pain but into NSAID medications plus collagen. My ortho doctor told me if the pain does not go away, It has to be operated. What do you think or any advice will be so much appreciated. I am 56 yo.
Thank you so much! God bless us.
