Loss of disc height can cause bulging of the disc, putting pressure on the nerves exiting the spine.

I had a accident from a 45kg light fall on my head from 5 meters high, I broke my c7 vertebrae but the also found on my mri scan that I also got a imprigment on c5/6 vertebrae, would this be from the trauma I had involving my accident? Thanks

Doctor, please I need advice about my dad’s case. He had an emergency surgery to remove an herniated disc on his C6. The surgery was a success, but he lost movement in all 4 limbs. The upper limb is regain control faster with pt and exercise, but my dad is not able to move and control the lower limbs, zero! He has sensation, the sensation is there, but he is not able to move his legs. Is there any therapy and treatment that could help him to regain his movements back and perhaps walk again one day? Ps: he also doesn’t have control of his bowel and bladder.
