Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen!

Yeshua said to pray to your father in heaven who knows what you need before you ask

Fr. As a Roman catholic, even if they think you can’t pray to the saints, they shouldn’t say it’s demonic. Calling followers of Christ demonic is not right

This is a Protestant thing
They have been mislead by the reformist preachers

The Communion of Saints is in the Apostles Creed dating back to the second century twelve hundred years before Martin Luther and the reformation. The Communion of Saints is handed down from the Apostles. Paul says that much Christian teaching is to be found in the tradition which is handed down by word of mouth (2 Tim. 2:2). 🙏

Ive heard many protestants say they dont believe we can pray to the Saints, and that itll just be noneffective. This is the only time ive heard one attribute it to demons. We can pray to the saints in Heaven by virtue of the Holy Spirit and the Oneness of the Body of Christ. To claim that as demonological is to Blaspheme against the Holy Spirit as the Pharasees who accused Christ as working through demons.

Mary does have special powers. She gave birth to our salvation because she was chosen by God to do this.

JESUS said pray to the Father in MY NAME
that's what I learned from Bible study

never heard about asking dead people for anything

Just as you ask a friend to pray for someone sick in your family we ask the saints to pray for us too.

Hi All,
1) Catholics adore and worship the Almighty, Loving, Faithful and True GOD, in the name of Jesus Christ.

2) As a community of saints and believers on earth, we also ask fellow Christian brothers, sisters, pastors, priest, saints in heaven and Angels to join us in prayers.

We can pray directly to God because of Jesus, we dont need to pray to saints, when we can directly talk/pray to God. You dont need messangers to pray to God

Nothing brings out the demons like the mentioning of Mother Mary. Satan really despises her. Blessed Mother you are the star ⭐️ of the sea 🌊 ❤

I've been learning a lot from you, bro.
You help me day in and day out to reinforce my Catholic faith.

Asking people here on earth to pray for us is biblical. However, asking people who are dead to pray for us, is not biblical. The Bible states several times that Jesus is our ONLY mediator and intercessor. What purpose do you get to pray to finite beings such as Mary or saints that have passed away?

ONE MEDIA✝️OR
1 Timothy 2:1-6 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
