Is Praying To The Saints Biblical?

Roman Catholics like Trent Horn and other Catholic apologists try to argue that the bible teaches the practice of praying to the saints. They use a whole pile of scriptures and they twist them and stretch them to say things that the bible never says. Many Catholics honestly believe that the practice of praying to the saints is biblical. Well, in this video I totally destroy the claim that the bible teaches prayer to the saints and I look at the verses one at a time and prove that in context and according to the plain meaning of the text, the bible does not teach prayers to the saints.

If we keep in mind that "saints" are those redeemed by God and made holy in His sight (ie., Christians) and not people designated as having special powers by a committee, it all makes much more sense.

I was raised in the Roman Catholic Church and I do remember praying to Mary directly and all the statues of her in the church . Having the rosary saying Hail Mary full of grace the lord is with thy blessed is the fruit of your womb holy Mary mother of God. Yes mary was blameless and she was favored by God but she was an obedient vessel that’s it . After truly becoming born again and with the indwelling of the HS God truly opened my eyes about the deception i was involved in . The Holy Spirit will lead you and guide in all truth .

You forget that the Catholics traditions and magisterium override the Bible… So using this argument against them is useless. They don’t care that it isn’t in the Bible. They don’t care that Mary worship isn’t in the Bible. It’s all just a big yawn to them.

None of the early church prayed to the saints or Angels. The Bible is clear on who to pray to. If you can pray to God approach his throne, why do you pray to saints and Angels?? God bless you immensely for these videos 🙏❤️✝️
