Are Seventh-day Adventists Christians? Part 2

Tom: Well, this is our second session with Dale Ratzlaff. We’re discussing the theology of Seventh-day Adventism, and for your information, if you missed our session one, he’s a former SDA pastor trained in Seventh-day Adventist schools and seminary. He’s the author of numerous articles and books addressing Adventist doctrines, including Cultic Doctrine of Seventh-day Adventism and Sabbath in Christ. He and his wife, Carolyn, left the SDA church over doctrines they believed undermined the biblical gospel and now teach biblical Christians about the theological errors of Adventism.

The only thing I have about the sabbath is that how/why did we start to worship on Sunday? All the 10 commandments are still in effect but not keeping the sabbath.
I’ve heard that originally when the pilgrims arrived in the Mayflower they kept the sabbath, and somewhere along the way it turned to Sunday. Is this true?
How does God view it?

I believe Walter Martin devoted a chapter on this subject in his book ‘Kingdom of the Cults’ He did a wonderful job explaining their doctrines, and what the Bible says about it.

Of all the myriads of error of Ellen White, which you fellas brought out to my disgust. The one I noted that wasn't mentioned, but was on the transcript was that "Ellen White is the spirit of prophesy" See Revelation 19:10 Worship God: for the testimony of JESUS is the spirit of prophesy. I'm curious as to how they defend keeping the Sabbath; when GOD gave this commandment to the Israelites they had been instructed to count by the lunar days. The lunar calendar and today's solar calendar hardly ever matchup. So the original lunar 7th day Sabbath will fall on different days of the week throughout the year, and seldom will it fall on a Saturday... If they're trying to hold to a strict observance then they will only succeed a few times a year. I wonder if they have considered this?
