The Seventh-day Adventist Church traces its roots to the Millerite movement of the 1840s, led by William Miller, a Baptist preacher who predicted the Second Coming of Jesus Christ in 1844. When Jesus did not return on the predicted date, known as the "Great Disappointment," some Millerites regrouped and reinterpreted the prophecy, leading to the formation of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1863. The church was formally organized by Ellen G. White, James White, Joseph Bates, and J.N. Andrews, among others. Ellen G. White is particularly notable for her extensive writings, which continue to influence Adventist theology and practice.

When still at Gallaudet University as the undergraduate college student, I had been experienced in the 7 th day Adventist Church about doctrines, refrains from smoking and alcohol, holistic practices, vegetarianism, and worship in Shabbat services on Saturdays in a fact.

I cannot find John Calvin, Martin Luther, Ellen G White, Billy Graham etc any where in the Bible. So why should I follow their teachings?

“Her concept of the “heavenly trio” differs from the traditional Trinity in that it is based on simple biblical reasoning and biblical presuppositions.
