Schizophrenia Patient Example Video

Hi I’m Michelle and I have Schizophrenia. I record schizophrenia psychosis episodes on a security camera that I have set up in my apartment. I do this to show people that schizophrenia episodes are often non-violent. I am seriously on my couch talking to myself. Not hurting anyone and not being dangerous. I might make angry faces….but I am still only sitting on my couch.

I had a boyfriend that has schizophrenia and I asked him why he talks to the voices, and he said because it makes him less scared if he just answers back, cause if he doesn’t the voices shout at him.

You experience schizophrenia so much different than I do. It’s crazy to see how many different ways the disorder presents.

This is the effect result of child molestation. It’s very unsettling that this is not taught by anyone. Nobody EVER mentions this! I used to see my ex boyfriend suffering from this every day. He was also super jumpy if you snuck up behind him. A person suffering from this also stays in their mind at the age that the trauma happened to them, for the rest of their lives! He was molested at age 7. He still plays with toys and little kids when they are around. He always tries to find street drugs, to help cope with this illness because the medications they give him, his body gets used to them, and stop being effective, so they always need to keep giving him a higher dosage. He just ends up giving up on them, cause they make him sick to his stomach. It’s a hard life. He always tries to commit suicide by hanging.

As a person wot schizophrenia I don't believe in recording my like willing recording your self taking a to personal for some ....and I feel like she does a Lil extra knowing she's on camra cuz I know when ppl are talking to them selves getting the shock or overweight overwhelming from hear a "noies" and she just talks like she just has ADHD it kinda makes me laugh a bit cuz I go thru the same but she does it like a kid that why I say she look like she doing a Lil extra....no disrespect...

IDK much about her, but she might have lost focus in these minutes and snapped back when her friend returned. I do all that all of the time. For me, it's a product of isolation. Get off the couch. Me, too. I'm going to read a book.

That disease is extremely rare. It looks like that person is experiencing extreme stress. A lot of people would fake these symptoms to get disability payments.
