Can't believe Will finally took off the muscle suit and revealed his true body

I am a 36 Year old man, I am a Husband and a Father of two girls! This video is literally my life, my life that I am working on changing. 100% of what happened to you in this video happens to me every single day and this video had me in tears and feeling ashamed of myself! Seven months ago I was 575 Pounds, today I am 474 Pounds because I have started to fix what needed to be fixed in my life. I am down 101 Pounds in 7 months because of my drive to not feel like I don't belong in this world.

My wife used to help me with my shoes, it's been hard to run and play with my girls and going out in public has always caused me so much anxiety that it would make me sick. I am on the right track and hope to be out of the 400s by this time next year or even in the 200s. one day at a time...❤🎉

I really appreciate that Will didn’t play this for a joke the way he easily could have and the way we’ve seen fat suits often used. He really approached this with empathy.

Former 600+ lbs guy right here. I’m down to 500ish atm. Finally back squatting without pain and working out regularly in my home backyard gym. Brently is a massive source of inspiration.

Edit: thanks for all the positivity folks! Lost another 3lbs this week. So keep going everyone !

This was an empathic, aware surprise wrapped under the classic YouTube algorithm thumbnail and title - really well done Will, the world needs more of this.

The crazy thing is that Will is in great shape underneath all that and it's still a struggle to do normal things. Imagine carrying all that weight around in addition to all your organs working overtime.

I was 710lbs in 2021, I'm now in the mid 300s. This was surprisingly accurate, I will say though at my gym people have been insanely encouraging to me. I don't think I've ever had someone say something mean to me, I've even had people go out of there way to encourage me. I would 100% take the time to work with Will sometime to reach out to this crowd. I'm almost done with my NASM certification and I plan to direct my effort to people trying to overcome this journey.

Little silly. Wills heart is in the right place here, but many people laugh or smile just because it’s clear this is a guy in a costume. Fairly certain most people would laugh or smile if a guy was walking around in a blatantly fake muscle suit as well.

As a plus size person who goes to the gym, I've experienced it all. I had people point and laugh at me, I've had people tell me to do cardio instead of strength training (I do it after), I've had eye rolls and you name it. However, I changed to a professional gym and most of that changed. I have had people ask to work in with me, offer a spot when they saw me struggling and even offered form suggestions.

The point is, we made the effort to make a difference in our lives. Don't be a piece of shit to people who showed up. Maybe with your acceptance, we will keep coming and make the life changes we need.

That server was so kind to you. She didn’t judge you and treated you like she’d want to be treated. She’s an unsung hero and deserves praise. We gotta normalize kindness to ALL people.

One of your best videos to date bro. It's humbling to walk in someone elses shoes for a day. Maybe as a society we need to take this approach (not wearing a fatsuit) but just contemplating on how others may feel in particular situations, whether that be in relation to their weight, economic status etc. Compassion really goes a long way and it would make society a whole lot better. Probably a message for the upcoming youth, they need to exhibit kindness and compassion, starting with themselves, parents, family and society in general.

When I was 13 I weighed 300lbs. How you perceive people looking at you or treating you is pretty damn accurate.

I clicked on this because the thumbnail was funny but honestly “Stay calm and keep going” is actually really good advice for anyone trying to lose weight. it’s so easy to panic when you don’t like the way you look, it’s the little changes that matter, not the big ones, great video Will.

Thank you for stepping into the experience of being a fat person. I've seen other reports on this type of experiment, but I appreciate your point of view: the difficulty, the emotional distress, the paranoia, the inconvenience, and discrimination. It takes a lot of courage to step into someone else's shoes for a day and you really went the extra mile to understand their perspective. Thank you.

The lady in the restaurant made me so happy I almost cried. Just noticing how upset Will was getting and then the lady was just "normal", I mean it was a really sweet reminder of how much we affect each other's lives everyday

Man, this almost made me cry so many times. A lot of those moments where Will seemed really sad, hurt, uncomfortable, etc, the way he reacted to the feeling or the faces he made really really reminded me of my own reactions and how much I've been trying to ignore it and focus on losing the weight. Awesome video, one of my struggles now is that no matter how much the scale says I've gone down or how much better my clothes and shoes fit, sometimes I'll catch a glimpse of myself or I'll see myself in a picture or something and in my eyes, I feel like I haven't changed at all. I still see myself as how I was when I started to lose the weight and that feeling sucks so much, I always feel empty and like I want to give up after that.
