Just to be clear, nuts and seeds are NOT a protein source.... they are a fat source. They do contain protein, but to actually get enough you'd have to eat a HUGE amount of calories. So to get all the health benefits of nuts and seeds, use them sparingly and save room for the real vegan protein sources.

Im bulking, and cant seem to eat enough normally, so nuts are actually a great protein source!

I don't disagree, but I just want to point out that walnuts is a nut with one of the highest fat content. Usually, nuts and seeds are around 50% fat and 15-25% protein, and with that ratio it almost halves the amount of calories needed (~500-600 kcal) to get 20g of protein. That's still a lot of calories per protein though so it still shouldn't be seen as a good protein source.

I think nuts are good on a bulk, for example peanut butter, at least my one is 30g for 600 cals which isn't too bad (I know peanuts are technically not nuts but for practical purposes they kinda are) - also hemp seeds are really good for protein

Agreed not great as a protein source. While nuts and seeds do have fats, they are real foods unlike the processed stuff you put on the counter. 😊

Something I've noticed in some of your other videos, you mention lentils as a good source of protein but never beans. Are beans not as good?
