True.. we are all scared. But if no one speaks up we are all losing out on the possibility of true love. It's all a risk. Crossing the street is a risk, do we not venture out?

every guy I've dealt with has chased me and has also played a lot of games. The man I'm with now has sent indicators that he was interested but has never chased me and that was different for me. Once I realized that he maybe interested in me I made the first move. Ringing his doorbell was the best decision I've made in love.

For all the comments that say " a man isn't worth it if it doesn't chase " or " he is weak if he can't open up entirely or still shows signs of being hurt therefore he ain't it " are not understanding the point being presented .

More often than not, a man who chases you obsessively is operating on lust, not love . That is not the type of man that you NEED . Yes you may enjoy the attention especially if he is attractive but a relationship like that never lasts or will go anywhere.

I do agree that if a man is being indecisive or shows signs he has not healed his past trauma that he may not be ready for a relationship and walking away is the best option. Self care and internal well-being being is both person's own responsibility.

But even if a man isn't ready he will get ready and his act together for a woman who is worth it . He will know what he wants and will show you interest in you even if its not in the way you think . If he messages you everyday, asks you how you are, does his best to take accountability and improve himself and to uplift you, what more can you ask for ?

In this day and age, a man has to vet and be more mindful who he chooses to give his love, affection and investing into . Seeing the mistakes from older men and how they suffer it shows us other men the reality of dating in this modern age.

Just as how a woman has to vet and make sure he doesn't just want him for his own pleasure or selfish motive .

Its not worth the risk to chase a woman, get together, have kids, be financially tangled and then she decides to leave him high and dry, drain him emotionally and mentally, and him losing half of all his possessions. At that point he has worked half of his life just to have it taken away . No one wants to end up like that .

Love is complicated and everyone has their own baggage and fears .
If you truly have feelings for someone then you will allow yourself to have patience and understanding towards the man you like . Communication is key and having a conversation can go a long way to understanding each other better . Men and women both deserve to be loved, supported and have a genuine space to be honest with each other feelings without having push back of " man up " or being " too sensitive " .

Men are human too . Not robots .

I don’t have the time or the energy to deal with that.. he needs to seek out therapy. Everyone goes through heartache.. that’s why so many women move on because for some of these men, we will never know why they behaved the way they did towards us women.
