I use a 25 gallon electric pump sprayer in the back of a 4-wheeler. Clip the power leads to the battery posts, hold the spray wand in your hand, and ride along spraying. Replaced the stock wand hose with 25’ of reinforced truck fuel hose. Works like a charm.

That's amazing. Acetic acid isn't a super strong acid, but it's still an acid. I thought it would attack the galvanizing worse than the glyphosate. Thanks for doing this, Josh. Great info!

I use a 15 Gallon Sprayer w/electric pump w/wand. The electric power comes from the tractor. I mounted this unit on carry-all mounted to my tractor. I also mounted 4 spray nozzles on back of carry-all. I used the nozzles to spray the yard. I did this cause I'm 71, Due to several injuries I'm no longer able to carry a back pack pump.

Vinegar and salt water. Works very well. And yes, those backpack sprayers are nicer than the little tank things but what's even nicer is a tank that sits on a atv or mower that connects to the 12v battery. point the wand and spray. And I will tell you this, reg. food vinegar will remove galvanization from chicken waters and make them rust so I'm not sure about your metal fence.

Hey Josh. Vinegar and salt work well if you apply when there is sun and no rain. You can simmer(do not boil) the vinegar to make it stronger and add salt as much as it will hold. Spray on full strength. It is cheaper than ROUNDUP. Glyphosphates are not good for honeybees. I will not use it.

Good info to know this stuff works. Ive seen them do a salt brine as a herbicide as well. Be interested to see you do a video trying out that method. Yes vinegar very is acidic. I soak rusty bolts in vinegar all the time. Just spray oil after your done.

The vinegar if left in long enough will turn the steel black, but it is great for removing rust, just keep an eye on it.

I use a gallon of white vinegar mixed with one cup salt and 1/4 cup of dish soap. Mixed into a sprayer and applied carefully works great.

My vote goes to the Green Gobbler. Also, my votes go to all the bumper stickers on the tailgate of the Gator. All quality choices.👍🏻👍🏻

Josh, I have a good idea for you, have the wife drive your little buggy while you spray along the fence line. Also I have used road salt mixed with water till all the salt is mixed. Put it into your sprayer with some dish soap so it sticks to the weeds. Where can you buy this and stuff and how much for 5 gals.

You're missing out on a sprayer that uses a little 12v battery and can sit in the back.of the UTV and will spray over 50 gals per charge.

I appreciate your enthusiasm and mission to try and find an "organic" solution if that's what you desire. While your test doesn't describe any potential negatives of using a 20% Vinegar solution, you also don't talk about what most people are looking for with a fence line or bare ground killer, which is efficiency (100% kill and potentially not having to re apply). Comparing a contact herbicide to a systemic in the matter that you did was also slightly misleading I thought (seeing activity from the Vinegar after an few hours, yes that makes sense. RoundUp taking several days to work it's way through the plant, also nothing earth shattering about this) Speed of kill does not always correlate to efficiency as you seemed to try and make it seem. There are many products, some containing glyphosate, some not, that are much more efficient that green gobbler on the market for use on fence rows, pasture, bare ground. I only say that because I have experience with hundreds of different products in commercial use. Doesn't mean I know it all, I just have a lot of experience. Again, I don't share your views on Glyohosate but I tip my cap to you in regards to your time spent in researching and trying to learn what works best for you and your farm.

This green gobbler is a great product. I used the septic safe drain cleaner with amazing results. Thanks for letting me know there is a weed killer as well. I will for sure try it out.

Hey Josh vinegar is bad for metal to I use it to make metal rust so it looks vintage. Vinegar is an acid.

The drone footage at the end did an awesome job of showing how the Green Gobblin Organic Weed Spray killed the weeds. Thank you for showing us a product that is a safe alternative to harmful chemicals.
