Thank you for doing a video on this, I REALEY like how you get right to the point of the video without jabbering for 10 minutes about subscribing, clicking, and thumbs uping your video. Your video has very good video quality with out standing AUDIO, you speek clearley and slowly enough that you can be easiley understood with out having to go back and play parts of your video back over and over again.

All you really need is salt and dish soap. Been doing it for years. No vinegar or secret ingredient needed. Salt water will keep weeds from coming back for months. The more salt the longer the weeds and grass stay away. Try growing any plant in soil with a high salt content.

The arthritis rub is NOT supposed to go in the mix.

It's for your back and hand after pumping on the sprayer all day.

I remember back in the 1990's when RoundUp first came on the market. It would kill anything quickly. You had to be careful with it. Nowadays it's so weak it won't hardly kill anything except your wallet.

I'll have to keep this in mind. I'm looking for a dye to add so the application can be more easily seen when doing large sections of lawn/garden. Adding the rub will definitely go on the list!

The secret ingredient's ingredients are Epsom salt, isopropyl alcohol and capsicum. Not sure about the alcohol or capsicum but yeah, more salt is going to make it work faster/better.

Hi, I just came across your recipe and got very excited to try it. I bought everything and then read where this was mainly for cracks, sidewalks, etc. Can you recommend something to kill an invasive vine that is wrapping around some of my plants - hosta, Blue Balloons, and around a hybrid evergreen. There is no way to get all the roots pulled out, this spreads everywhere!! I was hoping to trim the vines and then spray the vine closer to ground, avoiding my plants.... Any thoughts?? This has been going on for years!!!

Just found your video. Good idea. Your using the epson salt (magnesium sulfate) is like using N (nitrogen as a carrier within the plant) I don't use salt but substitute orange oil for penetration into the weed. Dish soap as a surfactant. With the vinegar. This formula is more effective with the arthritic rub than without in my tests. Good job and thinking.

If you use it repeatedly in the same area and later want to plant there the salt build up will stop most plants from growing. Some of the other items may also leave behind residues creating problems. Straight vinegar will kill weeds and it completely evaporates. . A drop of vegetable oil will make it stick.

I have a 45% vinegar solution I ordered from Amazon, it is only about $24 a gallon. I have a big farm, so I want to use the least expensive concoction of weed killer. I would like to know the percentage of vinegar you are using..., if it is grocery store bought, etc..., then it is 5%. One more question. Doesn't table salt kill the soil? I know Epsom salt won't, though it is not as potent for killing weeds. Thank you.
