After the 08 crash I vowed to make my business recession proof. We only do high end properties and so far it works out great. My advice is learn how to do everything that the property needs and you become more valuable to your clients.

I wish I had a choice. I am an Indiana hairstylist. My salon sits fully stocked waiting for the green light to resume business. I'm not happy about being "non-essential, " but I'm willing to make whatever sacrifices necessary to bring an end to this unfortunate situation. Stay healthy 😷

Great video mate, and lovely looking lawn there too. I'm the same just keeping on going while I can and saving up as much as possible, but if we're told to stop I guess I'll have to. It's certainly a hard time for everyone, I have been talking to a mate who flies Boeing 737s for a low cost airline here, TigerAir, and he and all the other 220 pilots at the airline have been made redundant already and I've just heard that now all the cabin crew and office staff have been dropped too, so it sadly doesn't look like they'll be returning to the skies after all this ends and that's going to have a massive impact on our travel industry. Another regional airline, REX, is also looking like it's going to have to close doors because they just can't operate. Our government has only released $715m to cover ALL airlines in the country and given our biggest, Qantas, has a $7 BILLION payroll per year on its own I don't think that's going to be near enough lol. Let's see how things go though.

Amen to this! I will stop working when there is no more work to be found.... that’s the only way I will stop. Hopefully it doesn’t get to that point. I love what I do and our industry is essential in most states for a reason.
